In addition, MassDEP audits a percentage of all cleanups to demonstrate that the work completed meets the state requirements. Your LSP will be able to identify such properties. MassDEP may respond to environmental emergencies (such as an oil spill), and may also provide oversight or require its approval of response actions during key stages of assessment and cleanup at any site, if conditions warrant. Does MassDEP get involved?Īlthough most evaluations and cleanups are performed without direct involvement of MassDEP, there are a few exceptions. They may, however, perform work upon which the Opinion is based. Environmental scientists or engineers not licensed by the LSP Board may not provide Opinions. Once the cleanup is complete, your LSP will submit a final Opinion to MassDEP stating that your property meets the requirements of the MCP. These proposals do not require MassDEP approval, so work can begin promptly. This recommendation will be presented in the form of a written proposal and contract to undertake the work. He or she will then recommend a course of action for meeting state requirements. Your LSP will gather and evaluate information about the contamination on your property. In fact due to some of the issues we now face they are moving to a different software solution that will be deployed in an Apple invironment with IPAD clients. To some extent we have kept their business with Microsoft. And hope they do it in a timely fashion.įor 20 years we have advised them on software selections and purchased their Microsoft Licensing. Instead we have to contact another company to change quantities etc. There is no way for us to manage licensing in their tenant the way we need to in order to support their needs in a fluid 365 environment.
We currently are a CSP and have enjoyed the ability to manage 365 licensing for our clients. Apparently there is no way to be an LSP as Microsoft has chosen the usual. First we lost revenue to the Select program and now we will lose additional revenue because of the LSP program for Office 365. We have worked with this client for over 20 years. We have a local client that Coca Cola has negotiated a special licensing contract for Microsoft Licensing.
I'm going to tell you a little story on how this DOES NOT work for partners.
